Just got back from the soft opening (members only!) of the brand new Machias Arts Center — I am blown away by the variety and quality of the artwork being made in this region, and I’m so excited to be able to participate in this wonderfully diverse inaugural group exhibition! The Machias Arts Council has been hard at work getting ready to launch something really amazing for our community, and it’s open for business next Friday, June 6! Come join us at the First Friday Art Walk kickoff (I’ll be tabling with a bunch of other artists) and see what’s going on in the brand new Machias Arts Center! So excited about this!
