Starting a studio shrine.

Meet my pothos Velma and an enigmatic saint — Our Lady for the Greater Good, by the fantastic Djinnaya Stroud.
Hello Trainhole!
This stamp I made for my 3D Digital Tools class

I really struggled in this class — everything about it, every assignment was so alien to how my brain works. It was so frustrating to know what I wanted to do and try my best to do it and just not be able to grasp the nuances of how these high-tech tools worked. In the end I found a way to make it work for me; I designed and 3D printed a handful of stamps to use in more material processes. I baked these little transgender stegosaurus sugar cookies to show one of my new stamps in action.
Coming out of the kiln today…

Some new stuff I’m working on, based on the Victorian language of flowers and on tea leaf divination rituals.
New logo design!
Just finalizing my new logo — part of an assignment for the School to Market entrepreneurship class at CCA(C).
New series: Lingua Flora
Tessellated teeth

Another take on this repeating tooth pattern I created for an “artist math” course… This has really become a recurring form in my work. Teeth for me mean frenetic energy, anxiety, stress dreams…
